Ilona (Helen) Turek Mourad of Charleroi R.D.2,formerly of Paramus,N.J.,died Tuesday, April 17,1979.at 12:30a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Oct. 11,1905 in Fayette City,a daughter of the late Andrew and Sophia Chesniak Turek, Mrs. Mourad was formerly employed at the Paramus Nursing Home,Paramus, N.J. Her husband,Hammand Mourad,preceded her in death. Survivors include two brothers, John Turek of Charleroi and Theodore Turek of Monessen, three sisters, Mrs. Catherine (Andy) Magruda of Charleroi,with whom she resided and Mrs. Sophia Sabolek and Mrs. Margaret Applegate,both of Belle Vernon,and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Michael A. Melinchak Funeral Home,Inc.,825 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Kluchko of the Holy Resurrection Church,Belle Vernon, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
