Idabell V.Foor;71;of Belle Vernon R.D.5 (Rostraver Township);died Saturday;Sept.1;1990;at 10:30 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in West Virginia;Tucker County;on Sept.10;1918;a daughter of the late Gorman and Ethel Dumire Lewis. Mrs.Foor was a member of the Monessen congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She has been married since 1936 and lived in the Belle Vernon area since 1937. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by a sister;Junita Cottie;and a brother;Wayne Lewis. She is survived by her husband;Oren V.Foor;four sons;Gerald Foor of LeGrange;Ill.;Monte Foor of York;and Dennis Foor and Darrell Foor;both of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Arlow Lewis of Ingomar and Herman Smithberger of Everett;five sisters;Elizabeth Therrell of Charlotte;N.C.;Luretta Howell of Baltimore;Md.;Betty Barnosky of Parma;Ohio;Almeda Holt of Geneva;Ohio;and ALberta Sementa of Bedford;Ohio;six grandchildren;and one great-grandchild. Friends were received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Sunday and Monday;where funeral services were held Tuesday morning. Interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
