Ida Stanley;87;of Los Gatos;Calif.;formerly of Belle Vernon;died Friday;May 6;1988. Born June 20;1901;in Belle Vernon;she had lived in the community for nearly all of her adult life. Mrs.Stanley was very active in community affairs;being a member of the Belle Vernon Women’s Club;the Order of the Eastern Star and both the Belle Vernon and Charleroi Golden Agers. Presbyterian by faith;she attended the First Chritian Church of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband;Thomas Gerald Stanley;in 1980. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law;J.T.and Vicki Stanley of Los Gratos. Graveside services will be held Tuesday;May 31;1988;at 10 a.m. in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
