Ida Monti Pineiro;87;formerly of Bluff St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;June 21;2000;in Westmoreland Manor. She was born Feb.21;1913;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Archie and Adelina Pasquinelli Monti. She was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church;the Belle Vernon Area Church Women and a charter member of the Anita Garibaldi Society Lodge of Belle Vernon. She was a former member and charter member of both the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Golden Agers. She sang for the Golden Tones and the Fayette City Melody Makers. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Antonio Pineiro on July 31;1978;by a son;Larry Martin in 1977;a brother;Raymond Monti in 1981;and a grandson;Mark Martin in 1992. Survivors include two sisters;Hilda Bradley of Baltimore;Md.and Lenora Asbury of ElPaso;Texas;two grandchildren;Larry Martin Jr.and and Dawn Renee Reiss;two great-grandchildren;Rana Reiss and Ronnie Cinkan Jr.;a sister-in-law;Hilda Monti;of the state of California;two nieces;Charlotte Veneracion and Patty Finn;both of Maryland and three cousins;Norma Pasquinelli and Rita Bartley;both of Belle Vernon and Carlotta Surdyn of Charleroi. Friends will be received in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Monday at 10 a.m. with pastor Donald Chudd officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
