Ida Edith Vizza Ambrose,88,formerly of Graham Street, Belle Vernon, died Thursday,June 6,1996,at 4:45 a.m. in the South Hills Convalescent Center, Canonsburg, Pa. Born Sept. 28,1907, in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Josephine Causi Vizza. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community,she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,the Belle Vernon Golfen Age Assembly and the Defense Club of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents,she was preceded n death by a son, Fidel C. Ambrose,on Feb. 5,1988; a brother, Joseph Vizza and three sisters, Teresa Parise,Sue Rizzuto and Lena Domanico. Surviving are her husband, Charles Ambrose,who resides at Family Services, Monongahela; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Betty) Vargo of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Jack (Marlene) France of Charleroi; a daughter-in-law,Jean Ambrose of Belle Vernon;one brother, William Vizza of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Greco of Greenville ad Lorraine D'Amico of Fairfax, Va.;14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C.Church with the Rev. John R. Cindric,pastor, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
