She was born in Charleroi on Dec.29;1909;a daughter of the late Gaetano and Teresa Pieri. Mrs.Picchiarini was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and the Belle Vernon AARP. She has been a resident of Belle Vernon since 1929. Survivors include one son;William A.Picchiarini of Belle Vernon;one daughter;Mrs.Thomas R.(Yvonne) Parks of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Cleo (Lillian) Valdiserri of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Chester (Dolly) Biagini of Belle Vernon;12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband;Aldo Pic Picchiarini;who died April 21;1986;one brother;Italo Pieri;and three sisters;Emma Franchini;Lena Valdiserri and Mrs.Dena Zanardelli. Friends were received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A prayer service will be held Friday;May 22 in the funeral home at 10 a.m.followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is handling funeral arrangements.
