Hugh L. Kissler of 109 Belle
Vernon Apartments; Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; March 20;
1990; at 3 p.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital. He was 81.
Mr. Kissler was born Dec. 23;
1908; in Boswell; a son of the late
Frank and Mary Krochil
Kissler.
Mr. Kissler; who had lived in
Belle Vernon for more than 50
years; was a former resident of
Morgantown; W. Va.
He retired in 1971 as a checker
from Irvin Works; U.S. Steel
Corp.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
of World War II; serving as a
corporal in the infantry.
Survivors include his wife;
Bertha Dougherty Kissler; one
son and daughter-in-law; David
L. and Linda Kissler of Belle
Vernon; a daughter; Doris
Rusak of New Carrolltown; Md.;
one brother; Albert M. Kissler of
Belle Vernon; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral
Home; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where services will be held Friday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Dr.Ralph Colas of Calvary Baptist Church;Meadville;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
