Howard E. Campbell,67,of 1222 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,died Saturday,Feb. 16,1963 at 10 a.m. at his late home following a short illness. Mr. Campbell was born in Alvista,Va.,on July4,1895,but had lived in Monessen since 1920. A retired employee from the wire mill at Pittsburgh Steel Co.,Monessen,as of January 1962,Mr. Campbell was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and the Order of Elks 697 of Monessen. Surviving are his widow,Emma Dee Campbell; three brothers,Clifton of Detroit,George and Louis,both of Monessen;four sisters, Mrs. Willie Clark and Miss Sarah Campbell,both of Monessen,Miss Anita Stokes and Miss Bertha Campbell,both of Brooklyn, N.Y. Friends are being received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home in Monessen,where services will take place Tuesday,Feb. 19,at 11 a.m. with the Rev. M.S. Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
