Jefferson Hills Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 16; 1917; in Belle
Vernon; he was a son of the late
Frank R. and Mary Flading
Dayner.
He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon.
A lifelong resident of the
Belle Vernon area; Mr. Dayner
retired in 1977 as a painting
contractor.
At the time of his death; he
was the oldest living life member of the North Belle Vernon
Volunteer Fire Department.
A 1934 graduate of North
Belle Vernon High School; Mr.
Dayner was a former member of
the Belle Vernon Lions and the
Mon Valley Country Club.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a son;
Denny; in 1962.
Survivors include his wife;
Hazel Bush Dayner; with whom
he celebrated 58 years of marriage on May 1; 1998: one son
and daughter-in-law; Dean D.
and Mary Kay Dayner of California; Pa.; one sister; Thelma
Catrino of Belle Vernon; one
brother and sister-in-law; Clarence and Marge Dayner of Cortland; Ohio: and one grandson;
Jason Dayner.
Friends wiil be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home
Inc.; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;where a Prayer service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
