Mrs.honor Louise Hamer;74;of 1359 Fayette Ave.;Belle Vernon (Fairhope) died Tuesday;Dec.23;1969;at 11 a.m. at her home.  Mrs.Hamer was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church in Fairhope.  At the time of her death she was secretary of the church’s Sunday School;a position she held for 26 years.  She was also president of the Women’s Association of the church and was a charter member of Washington Twp.Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary.  Born in Thacker;W.Va.;she had lived in Fairhope 68 years.  Surviving are her husband;Richard H.Hamer;three sons;Richard Allen Hamer and John Lesley Hamer of Fairhope;Williard E.Hamer of Twilight;one daughter;Mrs.Hugh (Emogene) Dunn Jr.of Belle Vernon;two brothers;George W.Breakwell of Smithfield and Clifford Breakwell of Belle Vernon;a sister;Mrs.Edna Reavie of Arborfield;Canada;11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Dec.24.  Service there Friday;Dec.26 at 1:30 p.m.with Dr.S.Arthur Talman;pastor of Belle Vernon’s First Presbyterian Church;officiating.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director.
