Obituary

Homer E.Buck died suddenly at the home of a physician in Belle Vernon,Friday evening,January 31. He was a teacher of piano in Monessen and vicinity for a number of years. During the World War,he gave up his profession to serve in the Army as a member of the U.S.Military band. Following the war,he returned to Monessen and resumed his classes,and for a number of years has resided at the Union hotel. He is survived by a brother,Howard Buck of Auburn,N.Y.,and a sister,Miss Gladys Buck of Waterloo,N.Y. Friends will be received at the Woodward Home for Funerals until tomorrow evening at 7:30 o'clock,when services will be conducted in charge of Rev.R.F.Steininger,pastor of St.Paul's Lutheran Church. Military services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Veteran's Plot,Belle Vernon Cemetery.
