Hilton Partington of 405 Bluff St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Aug. 29,1986 at 8:50 p.m. in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was 78. He was born Nov.30,1907 in the Isle of Man,British Isles,a son of the late William H.and Margaret E. Quayle Partington. Mr. Partington was a patient at the Waddington Convalescent Home,Fayette City for the past year and a half,having previously resided in Belle Vernon. He was a retired yardmaster for the Pittsburgh-Lake Erie Railroad. He was a member of the Benevolent Elks Lodge 494,Charleroi. Survivors include one brother,Ernest J. Partington,and one niece. There was no public visitation. Private interment took place in the Belle Vernon Cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,was in charge of the arrangements.
