She was born in Springfield;
Tenn.; on Jan. 13; 1908; a
daughter of the late Robert L.
Washington and Daisy
Washington Bentley.
Mrs. McGee was also preceded in death by her husband;
William C. McGee and one son;
Paul.
She was former owner and
operator of Hiawatha’s Grill.
Mrs. McGee is survived by
one son; William (Sonny)
McGee of Minneapolis; Minn.;
two daughters; Marjorie Kenney
of Monessen and Audrey
Fluellen of Harrisburg; one
sister; Jeannette Lewis of
Monessen; one niece; Robin
Spears of Rochester; N.Y.; one
great nephew; Aaron Lewis of
Monessen; four grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren; and
other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received on
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at William R. Taylor Funeral
Home; 645 McMahon Avenue;Monessen. Services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m.at Wayman A.M.E.Church;Reed Avenue;Monessen with Rev.Robert Taylor officiating. Interment is at Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
