Mrs. Hester A. Casteel,nee Baker, 62,of Naomi, Fayette City, R.D. 1,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Monday, November 6,1950,at 11 a.m. She was born in Washington Township,June 6,1888, and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Christ, Latter Day Saints Church of Fayette City. She is survived by her husband, Emanuel Casteel, six daughters, Mrs. David Usher of Fayette City,R.D.1, Mrs. Stephen Luketic of McKeesport,Mrs. Casimir Naspinsky of McKeesport, Mrs. Dominick Pro of Lynnwood,Stella at home,and Mrs. John Martin at home and one son,Louis of Fayette City,R.D.1, two brothers, Harry Baker of Monessen and James of Arnold City and nineteen grandchildren. Friends will be received at her late home. Services will be held there Thursday, November 9,1950,at 2 p.m.,followed by additional services in the Latter Day Saints Church of Fayette City,at 2:30 o'clock. Jess Winters and William Hailey of Fayette City will have charge of services, and interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and son are the funeral directors.
