Services were held Monday,Dec. 31,1990, for Herman Borbouse, 81, of Charleroi, who died Saturday, Dec. 29, 1990, at 8:08 a.m. in Haven Crest Convalescent Center Inc., Carroll Township. Born July 4, 1909, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Alfred and Alice Lambert Borbouse. Mr. Borbouse was a member of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 956, American Legion Post 22 and the Italia Unita Club, all of Charleroi. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired postal worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert, in 1949, and a sister, Rose Schoener. Surviving are his wife, Estelle (Tess) Kuziensky Borbouse, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J. Spallino Funeral home,819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at noon in St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church,with the Rev. John Marcucci, pastor, as celebrant,followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Carl J. Spallino Funeral Home,Charleroi.
