Herbert Dwyer of 1301 Lincoln Ave.,Charleroi,died Monday,April 27,1981 at 11:30 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Dwyer was born Nov. 29,1910, in Staunton,Ill.,a son of the late Earl and Louisa Hanel Dwyer. He was a Protestant by faith. Mr. Dwyer was retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. he and his brother-in-law,Lewis Wasick,were co-owners of the Elite Lounge in Charleroi. Mr. Dwyer was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Dwyer Jr. and Wilbur (Red) Dwyer. Survivors include his widow, Barbara Majireck Dwyer; two daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Loretta Mae) Mangan of Derby, N.Y. and Mrs. James (Bonnie Lee) Fearson of the state of Virginia; two sisters,Mrs. Elsie Juteux and Mrs. Lewis (La Verne) Wasick,both of Charleroi;six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received in the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home, 819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,where services will be held Thursday,April 30, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald McCormick, pastor of the First Christian Church in Charleroi,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
