Obituary

Henry Thomas Aldridge,76,of 132 Nagy Ave.,Arnold City,Belle Vernon R.D.,died Sunday,July 9,1961,at 4:55 p.m.in Brownsville General Hospital,after a long illness. Mr.Aldridge was born in Jefferson Twp.,March 28,1885,a son of the late Jack and Ellen Goe Aldridge. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. A retired coal miner,he was a member of Local 2148,United Mine Workers of America. Surviving are his widow,Ella,three sons,Theodore,of Monessen,Willard,of Fayette City and David,of Sharon,seven daughters,Mrs.Benjamin (Maude) Roberts,of Belle Vernon R.D.3,Mrs.Milchoir (Edith) Wolf of Large,Mrs.Frank (Irene) Pete of Belle Vernon R.D.4,Mrs.Nick (Mildred) Bennett,of Belle Vernon, Mrs.Andrew (Beatrice) Coulson,of Charleroi,Mrs.Paul (Betty) Joseph,of Shelbyville,Ind.,Mrs.James (Pearl) Hamilton,at home,33 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren,a sister,Mrs.James (Mary) Livingstone,of Charleroi,and a brother,Josie of Penn,Pa. Friends are being received at the George M.McCrory and Son Funeral Home,Fayette City,where funeral services will be held Wednesday,July 12,1961,at 2 p.m. The Rev.Frederick Burchell,pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M.McCrory and Son,funeral directors.
