Henry Snyder Coughenour died in Belle Vernon;July 18;1900;aged 83 years.  Mr.Coughenour was born near Mt.Pleasant;Pa.;and was married to Miss Caroline Conkle at West Newton;Pa;in 1847(?).  They moved to Monongahela and from that place came to Belle Vernon some years ago.  Soon after his marriage he joined the Lodge of L.O.O.F.at Monongahela;and had been a member for over 50 years.  In his early life he joined the Lutheran Church.  Three children survive him;his wife having died several years ago.  The children are;Mr.William Coughenour;of Payette;Idaho;Mrs.Anna McClure and Miss S.E.Coughenour of Belle Vernon.  Interment on July 20;1900.
