Henry J. Bertiaux, 70,of 707 McKean Ave.,Charleroi,died Monday, Feb. 3,1969 at 12:35 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mr. Bertiaux was born n Valley Camp, Pa.,May 14,1898. He was a retired employee of Charleroi borough and was a member of American Legion Post 22,Charleroi. A veteran of World Wars I and II,he is survived by his widow,Mavis Rhodaback Bertiaux; a step-son, David McVicar with the U.S. Air Force in Italy; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Bourbouse of Charleroi and two granddaughters. Friends are being received at the Harold L Schrock Funeral Home,Charleroi,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Thursday, Feb. 6,at 10:30 a.m. Graveside military service by American Legion Post 22,Charleroi,will take place. The Rev. Canon Joseph N. Wittkofski,pastor of St. Mary Episcopal Church,will officiate at the funeral home and graveside services. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L. Schrock is the funeral director.
