Sunday April;20;1969; at 6:45 p.m.. in Charleroi-
Monessen Hospital after a
lengthy illness.
Mr. Helmken; an employe of
the Charleroi works of Corning
Glass Co.; was a life member
of L.O.O.M. No. 103; Charleroi.
He is survived by his widow;
Jean Wilcox Helmken; a son;
William with the U. S. Air Force
at Jacksonville; Ark.; one
daughter; Mrs. George (Irene)
Leyda of Monongahela; one
brother; William of Oklahoma;
a sister; Mrs. Gertrude Williams of Monongahela and four grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m.on Tuesday at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.John W.McLeister of the Fayette City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory; funeral director; in charge of arrangements.
