Henry Rogers of 810 Fifth St.;Charleroi;died Monday;Feb.16;1987;at 8:45 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. He was 71. Mr.Rogers was born Aug.16;1915;in Dunkirk;Pa.;a son of the late Alexander and Josephine Barbero Rogers. He was a retired auto body repairman with the former H & B Chevrolet in Charleroi. Mr.Rogers was a member of the Italia Unita Club of Charleroi;the Charleroi Sportsmen’s Club and the Ellsworth Sportsmen’s Club. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by one sister;Ida Totora;and one stepson;Leroy (Skip) Peters. Surviving are his wife Stella McCune Rogers;three daughters;Sondra Kruczek and Claudia Herilla;both of Charleroi;and Mrs.Linda Campagni of Columbus;Ohio;one stepson;John Peters;of Morgantown;W.Va.;one stepdaughter;Carole Lee;of Charleroi;14 grandchildren;and four sisters;Marie Dubeck;Mrs.Americo (Jay) Dallaglio and Mrs.Al (Evelyn) McCune;all of Charleroi;and Louise Brasseur of Tampa;Fla. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Carl J;Spallino Funeral Home;819 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home;with the Rev.Keith L.Ackerman;rector;St.Mary’s Episcopal Church;Charleroi;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
