Henderson A.Johnson of 307 Westgate Manor;Monessen;died Wednesday;Feb.5;1986;at 1:13 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp.;after a very short illness. He was 85. Mr.Johnson was born Sept.21;1900;in Nashville;Tenn. He was a retired employee of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation. Mr.Johnson was preceded in death by his wife;Sarah Johnson;by one son;Oliver Johnson;and by one step-son;Joseph Heath. He was a member of the Mon Valley Association of Retired Steelworkers. Surviving are two sons;Leon (Pappy) Johnson Sr. of Monessen and George Alfred Johnson of Annapolis;Md.;one daughter;Mrs.Florence Womack;of Charleston;W.Va.;two stepsons;Henry Henderson of Monessen and Richard Heath of Chicago;Ill.;27 grandchildren;and 47 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Luther Wormack;pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon;Pa.
