Helen Britvich Yowonske of Belle Vernon;R.D.3;died Sunday;April 22;1984;at 2:45 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 65. Mrs.Yowonske was born Aug.17;1918;in Brownsville;a daughter of the late Peter J.and Johanna Zuffer Britvich. She was preceded in death by her husband;John Yowonske;on Jan.4;1983;by a son;Carl Michael Yowonske;on Oct.7;1957;and by a brother;George Britvich. Surviving are three sons;John Yowonske Jr.;at home;and Lee and Theodore Yowonske;both of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Charles Britvich of Hiller;Pa.;and Michael Britvich of Denbo;Pa.;one sister;Mrs.Katherine Oris;of Hiller;Pa.;and four grandchildren. Mrs.Yowonske had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community the past 40 years. She was a member of St.Sebastian’s Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday;April 25;at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
