Helen V. Driscoll,75,of Fayette City,died Thursday,Sept. 16,1993,in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township. Born Sept. 26,1917,in Washington Township,she was the daughter of the late Alex and Julia Ross Mast. Mrs. Driscoll was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Driscoll. Surviving are one son, James Driscoll of Fayette City;two brothers,George Mast Sr.of Fayette City R.D.1 and Jesse Mast of Fayette City;and three sisters, Elizabeth Marathon of Silver Springs,Md.,Florence Silva of San Leandro,Calif.,and Margaret Mast of Fayette City. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,334 Main St.,Fayette City,on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 9:30 a.m. on Monday,when a service will be held,followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Richard E. Mackiewicz as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parish Wake service will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home.
