Helen Heath Treadwell of 803 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died Thursday morning, Sept. 28,1978 at 4 o'clock in Uniontown Hospital. She was 70. Mrs. Treadwell was born Dec. 19,1907 in Rostraver Twp.,a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Affa Jones Heath. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon.She is survived by one son,Thomas H. Treadwell of Belle Vernon R.D.3; four grandchildren,and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Pearl) Fleming of Belle Vernon R.D.3. Mrs. Treadwell was preceded in death by her husband, William Treadwell,on Oct. 22,1965. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home,Perryopolis. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m.,with the Rev.Dr. S. Arthur Talman,pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
