Obituary

Helen Netza Rizzutto, 88, formerly of North Belle Vernon, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at 10:26 a.m. in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 2, 1918, in Daisytown, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Netza. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Rizzutto was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon, a homemaker and member of the former Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 Ladies Auxiliary, and a past member of Court Belle Vernon 1522, Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived son, Joseph D. Rizzutto, of Millersville, Md.: daughter Judy Antico, of Freedom, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rizzutto, two brothers, Stephen and Albert Netza, and a sister, Mary Valusiack. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles P. Esposito, parochial vicar of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Helen Rizzutto on Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
