Helen Richards;94;of Washington County Health Center;Washington;Pa;died Friday;July 7;1995;at 5:05 a.m. She was born Jan.13;1901;in Braddock;a daughter of the late Henry Sparell Saunders and Lillian Baker Saunders McCraw. Mrs.Richards was Methodist by faith. She had spent most of her life in the Pittsburgh area. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons;Ronald Richards and Richard Richards;both of Pittsburgh;one sister;Prudence Jane Elliott of Monessen;and one grandchild of Cleveland;Ohio. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by three sisters;and eight brothers. Friends will be received in the Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;Reed Ave.;Monessen;Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the church;with the Rev.Griffin E.Mason;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen;is in charge of the arrangements.
