Mrs.Helen R.Byron;62;of 212 Grove Ave.;Belle Vernon (Lynnwood) died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Thursday;March 12;1970;at 12:40 p.m. Mrs.Byron;a Lynnwood resident for 18 years;had been a teacher in the Washington Twp.School District;teaching at Fairhope. She retired in 1949. A member of Lynnwood Lutheran Church;she was born in Fayette City. Surviving are her husband;Harry;a step-son;Wallace of Campbell;Calif.;one sister;Mrs.George (Anna) Zuck of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 2 p.m.March 14 and until Monday;March 16;at 11:30 a.m. The body will then be taken to Lynnwood Lutheran Church for service there the same day at 1:30 p.m. The Rev.Hartzell A.Michael;pastor;will officiate.
