Born in Wyano;May 10;1921;the daughter of the late William and Sarah (Beck) Corbett;Mrs.Pierce had lived in Pricedale most of her life. She is survived by her husband;John Davis Pierce Sr.;two sons;John D.Jr.of Washington;D.C.;and George Larry on the U.S.S.Aircraft Carrier America;three brothers;James Corbett of Gary;Ind.;Joseph Corbett of Belle Vernon and Paul Corbett of Bentleyville;three sisters;Mrs.Mary Fowler of Leetsdale;Mrs.Josephine Moore of Leisure City;Fla.and Mrs.Margaret Radek of Pricedale;and one granddaughter;Debbie.
