Helen Moskwa, 86,formerly of Pricedale,died Wednesday,Jan. 3,2001,at 3:16 p.m. in Hallsworth House II,Monessen. Born Oct. 6,1914,in Akron,Ohio,she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Fekula Moskwa. Formerly of Pricedale,she was a resident of Hallsworth House II,Monessen for the past two years and had previously resided at Mt. Vernon Health Care for four years. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church of Belle Vernon.Ms. Moskwa retired in 1984 from Pennsylvania State Police where she worked as a police communications operator both at the Greensburg and the Belle Vernon barracks. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law,Leona and Morley Glick of Rostraver Township; two nephews,Leonard Glick of Groves,Texas,and Mark Glick of Hawaii'and a niece, Natalie Hucy of Madison. She was preceded in death by a sister,Emily Geeza;and an infant daughter. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
