Helen Trombino;94;of 1015 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;July 4;1993;at 10:15 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. She was born April 29;1899;in Bardelone;Italy;a daughter of the late August and Rose Sylvester. Mrs.Trombino had spent most of her life in the Belle Vernon area;where she was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;James Trombino;who died Sept.3;1982; a brother;Harry Sylvester;four sisters;Ollie Cerini;Louise Sherbinsky;Mary Freza and Fabriola Niccolai;one granddaughter and one grandson. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law;Robert A.and Norma Trombino of Belle Vernon;James N.and Nancy Trombino of Fairhope (Belle Vernon) and Jerry Trombino of North Huntingdon;one daughter and son-in-law;Rose and James Grant of Pittsburgh;two sisters;Dora Gallo of Belle Vernon and Amelia Botsko of Greensburg;11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where Prayer service will be held Wednesday at noon;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
