Obituary

Helen Kokias, age 95, of Pittsburgh (Oakland) passed away November 5, 2020. She was born in Allenport, PA, daughter of Tom and Bessie Manos. She is survived by son Christopher Kokias (Mary) of Centennial, CO, and daughter Theana Haag (Franz) of Astoria, NY, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and a brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by bothers Pete Manos, Chris Manos, and sister Pauline Bucchianeri. Helen enjoyed collecting miniature elephant statues, and watching wrestling on TV ( but never really took it seriously). During the 1960s and 70s she was a waitress and hostess at the Black Angus restaurant in Oakland. Visitation will be 2 to 4pm, November 14, at John N. Elachko Funeral Home 3447 Dawson Street in Oakland . Face masks and social distancing required.
