Obituary

Helen Kosevsky Kasuda,79,of Glen Burnie,Md.,and formerly of Belle Vernon (Arnold City),died Sunday,Feb.16,1997,in the Severna Park Genesis Elder Care Home. She was born in Brownsville,May 22,1917,the daughter of the late Philip and Mary Rycz Kosevsky. Mrs.Kasuda was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,and the PNA Lodge 976 of Arnold City. She was a retired cafeteria manager at Bellmar Junior High School in the Belle Vernon Area School District. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law,John E.and Patricia Kasuda Jr.of Glen Burnie,Md.,three grandsons,John Michael,Paul Joseph and Mark Steven Kasuda,a great-granddaughter,Lauren Kasuda,three step-great-grandchildren,and two sisters,Stella Novak of Brownsville and Agatha Gnus of LaBelle. In addition to her parents,se was preceded in death by a brother,Bernard Kosevsky,and a sister,Wanda Bilsky in 1996. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday until 9:30 a.m.,when a prayer service will be held,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev.Fr.Richard E.Mackiewicz as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
