Mrs. Helen Fisher; of 1127
Second St.; Monessen; died at
her late home Saturday;Dec.14;1963. She
had been in ill health for some
time.
A graduate of California State
College; she formerly taught in
the Monessen public schools;
and recently taught in St. Leonard’s
Parochial School; Monessen.
She was a member of St.
Leonard’s R. C. Church; Monessen;
the Ladies Guild of the
church; Monessen Court Catholic
Daughters of America 776;
and was past president of the
American Legion Post 28 Auxiliary.
Bom in Belle Vernon; she
was a daughter of the late
James and Mary Dowd Keehan.
Surviving are her husband;
Lewis P.; one son; William of
Punxsutawney; five grandchildren;
one brother; James Keehan
of Pittsburgh; one niece;
Mrs. John (Helen) Kudlik of
Pittsburgh; and a nephew; Lt.
James F. Keehan with the Naval
Air Force in Quonset
Point; R. I.
Friends are being received at
the H. Denver Rhome Funeral Home;Monessen;where a Blessing service will take place Tuesday;Dec.17;at 9:30 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St. Leonard’s R.C.Church;Monessen;at 10 a.m. The Rev.Regis M.Hickey;pastor;will officiate.
