Helen S. Hart,85,of Charleroi,died Saturday,Oct. 4,1997,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born Nov. 29,1911,in Belle Vernon,she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Rumbel Strenske. Presbyterian by faith, she was retired after 32 years of employment with Montgomery Wards. Mrs. Hart was past president of the American Legion Post 22 Auxiliary,Charleroi,and was a membr of the AARP. Survivors include one daughtrer, Mrs. Kent (Joyce) Yohe of Charleroi;one son, Lee N. Hart of Phoenix,Ariz.;one daughter-in-law,Vivian Hart of Belle Vernon;one brother, David Strenske of Bellview,Fla.; three sisters, Hilda Cummings of Belle Vernon,Mrs. George (Doris) Wilson of West Mifflin and Mrs. Robert (Patty) Stimmel of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Debbie Williams of State College,Linda Wolfgang of West Elizabeth,Pam Kevich of Charleroi,Kenny Yohe of Bentleyville, Luann Hart of Belle Vernon and Timothy Hart of Belle Vernon and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ed Bailey of the First United Methodist Church of Charleroi officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
