Helen (Salko) George;94;of Fayette City;died suddenly Monday;Dec.11;1989;at 4:30 p.m. in her home. She was born May 7;1895 in Austria-Hungary;a daughter of the late Mr.and Mrs. Mike Salko. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Lynnwood;Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John George;on Sept.10;1970. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Anna Grados of Fayette City;six grandchildren;Charles Grados of Belle Vernon;Helen Farro of Havre de Grace;Md.;Mrs. Wilma Gargan;Joan Davis anbd Georgette Gulya;all of Fayette City;and Christine Kleiber of Houston;nine great-grandchildren;three great-great-grandchildren;and one sister in Europe. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Lynnwood;with the Rev.John Kluchko;pastor;as celebrant. Burial will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
