Obituary

Helen F. Heino, 91, of Dunlevy, passed away, Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Pete and Christina Kosiba Zadrozny, she was born in Naomi Aug. 16, 1921. Helen was the owner of the Kozy Nook Tavern for the past 52 years, and was an avid gardener and cook. She was Catholic by faith. Helen is survived by two sons, and one daughter-in-law, Leonard D. and Kim Heino of Speers and Jeffrey W. Heino of Dunlevy, three grandchildren, Lisa Youger and her husband, John, of Grindstone, Lindsey Dell and her husband, Nate, of Shadyside, and Christina Heino of Long Branch, four great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Helen Zadrozny of Fairhope, and Betty Zadrozny of Arnold City, one sister, Mary Ann Estok of Melbourne, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard T. Heino on April 30, 1996, one son, Lawrence W. Heino on June 8, 2000, and two brothers, Frank Zadrozny on Nov. 28, 2012, and John Zadrozny on March 30, 2013. Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Broad Ave., 724-929-5300, http://www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Felix Pyzowski of St. Joseph Polish National Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
