Helen E. Piisila Balderoni,81,of 35 Donner Ave.,Monessen,died Thursday,June 28,1990,at her residence. Born Nov. 22,1908,in Monessen,she was the daughter of the late Willard and Marie Brompsi Piisila. A lifelong resident of Monessen, Mrs. Balderoni was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Christian Women Organization. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Balderoni,in February 1981. Surviving are two sisters,Sophia Laatu of Monessen and Estelle Bandi of Olney, Ill.;two brothers Ernest Piisila of Monessen and John Piisila of Monroeville and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Charles L. Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.
