Helen C. Claire Fretz; 86; of Monessen; died Thursday; Aug. 9; 2012; at her home. She was born Aug. 8; 1926; in Charleroi; a daughter of the late Herbert Helen Pearle Zundel Jones. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Monessen. Surviving are two daughters; Leslie L. Murphy of Monessen and Beth Ann Cocari of North Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; D. Thomas and wife; Christine Murphy; of North Belle Vernon; Amy Murphy Bissett and husband; Jeffrey; of Washington; Alyson Coccari Longnecker and husband; Jason; of Lynwood; and Lauren Coccari Booher and husband; Jessiah; of Moundsville; W.Va.; eight great-grandchildren; Meaghan; Christian and Alexa Murphy; Gillian Bissett; Amelia and Natalie Longnecker; Sarah and Liam Booher. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert E. Fretz; and a sister; Doris Swaney. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.; Family Owned and Operated as a Member of the Golden Rule; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen; where friends will be welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held in the chapel of the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 10 a.m. Monday; Aug. 13; 2012. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
