Helen C. Sayre; 78; of North Huntingdon; died Sunday; Sept. 9; 2007; in Manor Care Health Services; Salisbury Township. Born in Allentown; she was the daughter of the late Henderson and Helen (DeRemer) Sayre. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Irwin. She attended the PA Association of the Blind School and worked in the food service department for the Pennsylvania Association of the Blind; in the Pittsburg area. She is survived by a brother; Allen H. Sayre; of Catasauqua; nieces and nephews; and a longtime friend; Kay VanFleet; of North Huntingdon. Memorial services will be noon Saturday in the First Church of the Nazarene; 938 S. 11th St.; Allentown. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 11 a.m. to noon in the church.
