Helen C.Draper;86;of Monessen;died Tuesday;Oct.10;2000;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born March 14;1914;in McKeesport;a daughter of the late Phillip and Catherine Christian. She was the former owner of the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church;Monessen;where she was a member and treasurer of the Foreign Missionary Society;and a member of the Star of Bethlehem Chapter 34;Order of the Eastern Star;where she served as past matron. She was preceded in death by her husband Beverly C.Draper Sr.;two sisters;Elizabeth Batch and Hilda Dudley;and three brothers;William;Alfred and Fritz Christian. Survivors include one son;Beverly Clifford (Johnny) Draper Jr.;two sisters-in-law;Ruby McCraw and Dundeenah Draper;two godsons;Robert Middleton;and Craig Lanier;and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in Mt.Calvary Baptist Church;230 Reed Ave.;Monessen;where funeral services will be held Saturday;Oct.14;at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Jack A.Howell officiating the service.
