Helen B. Libengood,74 of 204 Meade St.,Donora died Tuesday, Oct. 4,1977 in Monongahela Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Smithton on Nov. 8,1902,a daughter of the late S. Wilson and Hallie Kiefer Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Libengood was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Donora where she had taught in the Sunday School nursery for over 34 years. She also belonged to the King's Daughters Bible Class and Women's Society of Christian Service of the church. Her husband, Arthur L. Libengood preceded her in death on Dec. 11,1973. Surviving are one son, A. Ray Libengood of Medina,Ohio;one sister, Mrs. Clyde (Frances) Mosier of Belle Vernon R.D.4 and one granddaughter,Gail. Friends will be received at the James A. Rabe Funeral Home,Donora,from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Raughley of the First United Methodsit Church,Donora, officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. James R. Rabe is funeral director in charge.
