Obituary

Helen B. Kluska Fryske, 92, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006 at 7:25 p.m. Born April 14, 1913 in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Caroline Chlebek Kluska. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Fryske was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Belle Vernon 1522, and the church's Legion of Mary. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Alex Basits, of Belle Vernon, and Charlotte and Robert Roche, of Pittsburgh, and seven grandchildren, Rachel Watsula, Brian, Bobby and Shawn Roche, Bridget Roche, and Susan and Lex Basits. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Fryske, on July 3, 1977, a granddaughter, Laura Ann Aiello, two brothers, Joseph and Edward Kluska, and three sisters, Mary Kluska, Frances Kluska and Florence Aszkiniewicz. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). There will be no visitation on Sunday, Feb. 26. A Prayer Service will be held Monday, Feb. 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas V.F., pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish and the CD of A will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Helen B. Fryske on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
