Hazel McNutt of 439 Hill St.;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 9;1975;at 6:45 p.m. at the home of her granddaughter;Mrs.Dan (Helen) Paterline;Ghennes Heights;Monongahela. Born in Jeannette;she was a daughter of the late James and Olive Browneller Hare;and had lived in Belle Vernon since 1928. Mrs.McNutt was a charter member of the Pennsboro Chapter No.26;Order of the Eastern Star;Pennsboro;W.Va. She was also a member of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the United Methodist Women and the Wesleyan Sunday School Class of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband;Bert McNutt;in February 1966;and by a son;William Saunders;in June;1955. Survviving are one daughter-in-law;Mrs.Marie Saunders of North Charleroi;two grandsons;William Saunders of Bedford and Don Saunders of Pittsburgh;one granddaughter;Mrs.Dan (Helen) Paterline of Ghennes Heights;Monongahela;and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Toner Essey Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.R.Dawson Hopson of the First Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Raymond D.Dalfonso of Monessen is funeral director in charge.
