Hazel E.Waite of 112 Lee Drive;Belle Vernon;died Sunday;March 17;at 7:45 p.m. She was 83. Mrs.Waite was born May 23;1901;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Bartley Abrams. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and its Regulars Class and Martha Circle. Mrs.Waite was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 196;Belle Vernon. A resident of Belle Vernon for over 60 years;she was preceded in death by her husband;Dr.Raymond J.Waite;Jan.15;1965. Survivors include two sons;Dr.Raymond W.Waite of Belle Vernon and W. Claude Waite of Pittsburgh;two daughters;Mrs.Fred (Gladys) Neuberl of Peoria;Ill and Mrs.E.F.(Dorothy) Carter of Pine Bush;N.Y.;one brother;Walter Abrams of Alliance;Ohio;14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday;March 29;at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Charles LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon officiating.Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
