Hazel B. McCrory Coates,69, of Fayette City R.D. 1, died Wednesday,April 6,1977,at 3:15 p.m. in West Penn Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was born in Washington Twp.on March 31,1908,daughter of the late Edward and Margarette Hough McCrory. Surviving are her husband, Michael Coates; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald J. (Nancy) Larson of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Frank McCrory of Mercer;one sister, Mrs. Chester (Agnes) Cole of Wheatland,and one grandson, Matthew Michael Larson. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City after 7 p.m. on Thursday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Higgenbotham of Star Junction United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
