Mrs. Hattie T. Campbell,49,of 1113 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday,March 22,1967 at 7:45 a.m. in Magee Hospital,Pittsburgh,after a brief illness. Born in Mobile,Ala.,Feb. 15,1918,she had lived in Monessen 32 years. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Monessen. Surviving are her husband,George (Wake) Campbell Sr.;two sons, George Jr. of Washington,D.C. and Rayford of Mobile; two daughters, Virginia of Washington,D.C. and Mrs. Peggy Little of Monessen;her step-father,Thomas Williams of Mobile;two brothers,John Kelly and Walter Bettis of Monessen;two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Spencer of Monessen and Mrs.Louise Wilson of Mobile and twelve grandchildren.Friends will be received after 7 p.m. March 23 at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,and thereafter from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service Saturday,March 25,at 11a.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen. The Rev. Edgar Archie,pastor,will officiate.
