Mrs. Hattie Leona Shrader,aged 53 years,died Thursday,February 3,1949 at 3:15 p.m.,at her home, 256 Donner avenue,following a lingering illness. She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethern Church,the Pythian Sisters,American Legion Auxiliary,the W.B.A. and the Dames of Malta. Surviving are her husband George Shrader, Sr.,and the following children;Mrs. John Oliver of New Kensington,Clifford at home,Claude of Charleroi,Mrs. Steve Vlanich of Monessen,Donald of Monessen,George,Jr. of Gibsonton,Mrs. Walter Hopkins of Monessen,and Dwayne Louis in the service. Her parents,Mr. and Mrs. Louis McCallister of Monessen;a sister,Mrs. Garnet Parks of Shamokin, Pa., and two brothers, Claude and Joseph McCallister of Monessen and eleven grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer and Ferguson Funeral Home in Monessen. Services will be held there Sunday,February 6,1949,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. C.J. Varner. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Melenyzer and Ferguson are the funeral directors.
