Harry White;81;of 128 State street;Belle Vernon;died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital;October 4;1957;at 3:30 p.m. He was born in England;March 13;1876;and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon and the Eagles lodge of Charleroi. He was a retired United Mine Worker;last employed at Vesta #6 mine at Denbo. He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Cora Belle White;one son;William of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.Margaret Cummings of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Ella Greese of Saltsburg;three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Tuesday;October 8;1957;at 1:30 p.m.;in charge of Rev.James C.Puz;and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
