Harry R. Fleming,Sr.of Belle Vernon R.D.3 died Wednesday, Feb. 18,1981 at 2 a.m. in Jefferson Hospital,West Mifflin. He was 70. Mr. Fleming was born Sept. 18,1910 in Franklin Township, a son of the late Guy and Caroline Rittenhouse Fleming. He was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon R.D. Mr. Fleming was a graduate of California State College and was a retired school teacher in the Belle Vernon Area School District after 40 years of service. He was a member of PSEA and NEA. Survivors include his wife,Pearl Heath Fleming; two sons, Samuel Guy Fleming and Harry R. Fleming,Jr.,both of Belle Venron R.D.3 and four grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home,Inc.,Perryopolis Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gordan W. Whitney officiatiing. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
